About Annalise

Hello! My name is Annalise Ritter.
I am an illustrator, graphic facilitator/recorder, and graphic designer. With my background in environmental education and public policy facilitation, I use deep listening and visual processing to communicate complex information and visionary ideas in engaging ways.
I believe that we can only thrive when our ecosystems do, whether that system be our own body & mind, our social community, or the environment around us. I use art, design, and facilitation to help people understand each other and our systems, so that they can care for these relationships and effect change. I fly high and I dive deep: I work at both the bird's eye level with big visions, and down in the depths of intricate details, instilling a little magic along the way.
My favorite tools vary depending on the type of work I am doing, but include pen and ink, paint, markers and wall-size paper, and digital drawing programs. I work at the intersection of science, policy, community visioning, storytelling, and imagination.
Do you have something in mind that you need to communicate with more than words, or a group process that could use the power of imagery to unlock its transformational potential? Send me a message!
I look forward to connecting with you to see what ideas we can bring to life!
In other areas of my life, I am a performing artist: Iām a dancer, an aerialist, and a mermaid. I love making magic in the sea and sky.
I also enjoy spending time in nature (as a human), traveling, learning new things, and baking cake for every meal.
